Melon is a young, curious and very active pig. She is very inquisitive, loves to explore and roam around. She wheeks very loudly, jumps on hidies and climbs the grids whenever she senses that you have treats for her. She will do well in a more generous space.
She is very neat in her toilet habits. She does 90% of her business in a certain area of her cage, away from her sleeping area. As such, she keeps herself very very clean and is very low maintenance in this regard.
Melon came to us being very afraid of human touch. We have been working hard to socialise her, and she now allows us to pet her in her cage. More work will be needed for her to become more comfortable with being carried.
